Fake online banking URL (see phishing):this is where a scammer e.g sends you an email asking you to update your personal records, claiming to be from your bank. The email will contain a fake URL which will take you to a fake login page. Never click on a link that claims to be from your bank!
Fake scan (see Scareware and Rogueware):A website that claims it can scan for nasty programs on your computer. Unfortunately the scan results in most cases are not real and ask you to purchase the product to remove the nasty programs.
Fake website:A website that has been setup to look genuine (with company logo etc) but unfortunately delivers malware and Trojans.
Faking the dead:This type of fraudulent crime (or scam) uses identities stolen from the deceased to purchase credit cards, loans and goods and services.
